EPA Proposes Changes to RCRA Test Methods

EPA Proposes RCRA Test Methods Changes.pdf

On April 2, 2019 (84 FR 12539) the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA or the Agency) proposed to update the regulations for the identification of ignitable hazardous waste under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and to modernize the RCRA test methods that currently require the use of mercury thermometers. These proposed revisions would provide greater clarity to hazardous waste identification, provide flexibility in testing requirements, improve environmental compliance, and, thereby, enhance protection of human health and the environment.  Comments must be received on or before June 3, 2019.
